Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) is a small nonprofit research and education affiliate of the American Hospital Association, based in Chicago, Illinois. It focuses on identifying and examining critical issues that affect how health care is delivered. Its applied research aims to generate new knowledge, tools, and practical assistance to improve care delivery by providers and practitioners in the communities they serve, while benefiting from the resources and thought leadership associated with the AHA.
