The purpose of HealthCare Friends is to facilitate meetings for members and guests as they network in a casual yet professional environment. We encourage our members to promote their organizations, events and activities while networking with other dynamic individuals to achieve success in their arena of the healthcare field. We strive to ensure that our meetings are educational, rewarding, and fun for all who attend. Marsha Bell founded HealthCare Friends in October of 2001. It is an organization devoted to facilitating networking opportunities for health care professionals in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. It has been a success from the very beginning. Since there were no other networking groups of its kind, membership grew rapidly. Today there are over 150 members representing over 100 health care organizations and businesses who now have the opportunity to better promote their companies and themselves. In addition, a number of members are from outside health care but serve the health care segment. Health care industry members include retirement communities, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehab organizations, home health care agencies, physician groups, hospitals, hospices, and others. Non health care members serving the health care industry include, but are not limited to, financial advisors, insurance companies, equipment companies, and publishers. Our Mission: HealthCare Friends are committed to enhancing the lives and exceeding the expectations of our members by offering a professional support network of individuals who represent and promote their organization on a personal level.
