The Heatherwood & Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was acquired on 1 October 2014 and is now part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. It provides hospital-based services to a large, diverse population across Ascot, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor and parts of south Buckinghamshire. The trust runs two main hospital sites, Wexham Park in Slough and Heatherwood in Ascot, delivering acute inpatient care such as cardiology, maternity, stroke and emergency services, along with outpatient, breast screening and diagnostic services from four additional sites: King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor, St. Mark's Hospital in Maidenhead, Fitzwilliam House in Bracknell, and Chalfonts Outpatients in Chalfont St Peter. It serves a multilingual community and prioritizes prevention and early detection of obesity, cardiovascular disease, dementia, cancers and other long-term conditions.
