Heckler & Koch is and industry leader in the design and manufacture of small arms and related equipment for both military and law enforcement markets and the US civil market. HK was founded in 1949 in Oberndorf, Germany by three engineers, Edmund Heckler, Theodore Koch and Alex Seidel. HK is one of the world's most extensive small arms manufacturers with offerings in nearly all product categories. Several of the more popular HK designs over the past 60 years include the G3 and HK33 assault rifles, MP5 submachine gun, P7 and USP pistols.
