The Henry’s Fork Foundation is focused on conserving and restoring the fisheries, wildlife, and aesthetic qualities of the Henry’s Fork and its watershed. Based in Ashton, Idaho, the organization pursues a science-based, collaborative approach to promoting healthy streamflow, water quality, fish populations, and a positive fishing experience across the Henry’s Fork and South Fork Snake River watersheds. Founded in 1984, it operates within the conservation programs sector and partner networks to mitigate the effects of drought and climate change on aquatic ecosystems. The foundation works to support stakeholders who depend on healthy fisheries and related environmental conditions in the region. A recent development involves launching a project to address temperature and turbidity in water infrastructure, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve habitat quality through targeted interventions.
