Herbert Mines Associates was founded in 1978 by Herb Mines, who introduced the concept of retained executive search to retailers. Our firm has broadened over the years, but without straying from Herb's original focus on delighting clients. Today, we are the largest retained executive search firm focused exclusively on consumer-driven businesses including retail, consumer products, fashion/apparel, digital/e-commerce, hospitality, foodservice and the private equity firms that invest in these businesses.
