At Heritage we think the bike should be just as well-suited to you as the activity. You may be a novice or an expert but either way we will build you a bicycle that makes you feel brand new. It may be the style that draws you in, or the idea of supporting local business, or the practical need for a sturdy city bike, but whatever the reason Heritage bikes stand up to the test of fashion, function, and comfort. Whether you come in to fix a flat, to grab a latte or a new Yakkay helmet, or to try the latest seasonal options from our own Heritage Coffee, we are here to make you feel at home in Chicago’s original bike café. We have seen people come in for a cup of coffee and walk out with a vintage-inspired, handcrafted bicycle. We've also seen people come in looking for tubes leave with 12 ounces of some of the world’s finest coffee. Rustic, simple breakfast food is now coming out of the freshly assembled #HeritageKitchen. 7am to 2pm, 7 days a week, our kitchen staff are handcrafting every homemade dish to order. Clean and fresh, with an eye toward local, seasonal ingredients from family-owned suppliers.
