Hicks Brunson Eyewear is an Optical boutique in Tulsa, Oklahoma offering luxury eyewear from around the world.  Every frame in our store has been hand selected with a sharp eye for trending fashion, and a keen sense of timeless sophistication.  Our opticians are well versed in the latest superior lens technology.

Hicks G. Brunson came to Tulsa as a representative of American Optical Co. in 1929, and opened his own dispensary in the downtown Medical Arts building in 1950.  In 1952 he opened his second location at Utica Square.

In the 1960′s Hicks Brunson Eyewear was a pioneer in being one of the first in the region to offer eyewear by designer names such as Christian Dior.

In 1988 our store was among the first to stock the new Giorgio Armani eyewear collection when it was launched, which was a pivotal moment in the history of eyewear.

In 2007 we launched our hallmark ‘Bespoke’ service with Tom Davies Eyewear in which we began custom designing frames.  Our opticians will take millimeter perfect measurements of your head, and then pick out colors to suit your natural coloring.

In March of 2010 we entered into a partnership with Youth Services of Tulsa. Each month we provide free eyeglasses to homeless teenagers and young adults in the transitional living program.

For more than sixty years and four generations, Hicks Brunson Eyewear continues to raise the standard of the eyewear market in North Eastern Oklahoma.  It is our mission to provide the finest independent and original eyewear combined with the highest levels of excellence in opticianry.
