Hispanic Services Council is a community-based organization working to improve the quality of life of all Hillsborough County residents by promoting academic success of children and youth, preparing individuals to excel in today's workforce, supporting the development of healthy communities and promoting leadership and engagement among Latinos.

We work to achieve our goals through a unique strategic focus, concentrating on the following areas to help Latinos flourish: 


Education – working to increase the capacity of Latinos to: 

● Get ready for school
● Succeed in school
● Acquire higher education/training

Health & Wealth – striving to improve the physical and financial well being of Latinos by: 

● Promoting healthy living
● Creating job opportunities
● Spurring entrepreneurship

Civic Engagement – promoting the influence of Latinos by:

● Creating opportunities for engagement at neighborhood levels
● Building leadership capacity
● Advocating with, and on behalf of, the interest of the Latino community
● Providing immigration legal services
● Assisting Latinos in becoming naturalized U.S. citizens
