Since 1999, History Matters has provided historical analysis, historical documentation, and preservation consulting to owners of historic properties, individuals and private companies, non-profit organizations, and local, state, and federal agencies.

History Matters’ work is distinctive for its care and its clarity.  We integrate historical and architectural research that is readable, accessible, and specific to each client and to each project.  

In 2024, History Matters launched The Episcopal Project, a non-profit whose mission is to help Episcopal churches, dioceses, and organizations preserve and protect their history for future generations.
