Hoax is an interactive design studio. We're revising rules and disrupting routines to create novel situations and powerful experiences. Together, our team of artists, designers and performers create immersive events, interactive installations, and alternate reality games for private clients and public consumption. Over the past 4 years, the studio has produced nearly 300 events featuring Hoax's flagship Neo-Noir cocktail party game, The Racket, for clients like Google, Facebook, Wells Fargo, The Founders Fund, Twitch, Niantic Labs, and Adobe. Our team has been commissioned to design and produce for Google I/O, TwitchCon, the annual Come Out & Play Festival, Boxcar Theater's "The Speakeasy", and more. Currently, Hoax is hard at work on our new party game, The Masque, as well as a number of other smaller pieces scheduled for release throughout 2020.
