Founder and Principal Steve Hobson has over 20 years of Employee Benefits and Insurance industry experience. Steve started on the carrier side of the business working for 12 years for major insurance carriers MetLife, United Healthcare, and Blue Shield. His work focused on Sales, Marketing, Technology & Operations Integration, and Project Management.

Steve established Hobson Insurance in 2004. We specialize in employer groups of 2-50 employees but also work with employer groups of all sizes as well as individuals and families. We work with all major California carriers and provide a full spectrum or products including: Medical (HMO, PPO, HSAs, Flex, and P.O.P. plans), Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, AD&D, and COBRA Administration.
