Hoctil is a non-profit 501(3)c entity which promotes independence for persons with disabilities and adheres to the Independent Living philosophy and the practices of : Consumer control, Consumer directed services, Consumer directed decision making, Self-help and self advocacy. 

HOCTIL advocates for Equal integrated access to community services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities to all including persons with disabilities.

HOCTIL advocates for individuals with disabilities to take charge of their lives and participate actively in their community.

HOCTIL is a community-based, non-profit, non-residential service and advocacy organization operated for people with disabilities by people with disabilities.

HOCTIL's services are available at no charge for people with disabilities and their families in Bell, Coryell, McLennan, Hill and surrounding counties, which include the Council of Geovernernment Areas of Central and Heart of Texas.
