Holiday Market is a family-owned food and beverage retailer based in Royal Oak, Michigan. Founded in 1954 by Tom and Janet Violante as a small neighborhood butcher shop and specialty store, the business has grown into a substantial market that now spans about 60,000 square feet while preserving a focus on high-quality products and friendly, neighborhood-style service. The evolution from a 2,500-square-foot storefront to its current footprint reflects sustained customer demand and a steady emphasis on quality and service. Today, leadership remains in the Violante family, with Tom Jr. and Gina Mangold, along with Gina's husband Craig, overseeing the company's ongoing growth. The business serves shoppers in the Metro Detroit area, operating within the food retail sector as a regional market that emphasizes quality products and personal service. It has repeatedly been voted one of the best markets in Metro Detroit, reflecting its local reputation for service and selection.
