Home Lumber Company  is the 2010 Wisconsin Family Business of the Year!

The Hale family and their business is steeped in tradition for choosing to make a difference in their community and also with their customers. Their family run lumberyard will celebrate 126 years in business in 2011. They hold a long history and have a lot at stake in Whitewater's downtown.

The company is run today by Geoff Hale with the help of his father Don, wife Jacki, and brother Jack. Geoff's three boys Chris, Mike, and Mac are all active on a day to day basis with the company. 

Over a three day process, everyone in the company took part in the creation of our mission statement which above our front entry and reads:

"Home Lumber strives to deliver quality products and courteous services which exceed your expectations. We endeavor to provide a progressive, profitable, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Ask those we serve."
