Hope For Youth, Inc is a Long Island–based nonprofit organization that has served children and families since 1969. Founded by Judge Elizabeth Bass Golding to create group home programs for adolescent boys, the organization developed a community-based alternative to residential treatment, enabling youths to live in the community with appropriate supports. Located in Amityville, New York, it operates within the nonprofit sector focused on youth services and family stabilization, with a mission aligned to providing safe, supportive environments and opportunities for positive development. The organization has grown to serve a broader base within the community and maintains partnerships, including collaborations with other nonprofit and professional entities, as part of its ongoing efforts to support emotionally disturbed or under-served youth and their families.
