Nearly Sixty years ago, in the tiny and peaceful central Illinois farm community of Hopedale, the amazing success story of the Hopedale Medical Complex (HMC) began as Hopedale Hospital. This 20 bed community hospital was built in large part with local citizens’ volunteer labor and the hard work and integrity for which it is still known.

Hopedale Medical Complex (HMC) is owned by the not-for-profit corporation, The Hopedale Medical Foundation, which was established in 1963. Located just a short distance from Peoria and Bloomington, IL HMC is a truly remarkable institution with the perfect blend of modern technology, warm family atmosphere, outstanding doctors and a compassionate nursing staff.
