It all started over not-a-beer. Our founder, Dean, was taking a month off drinking as part of his health journey, but while at a brewery with his eventual co-founder, Andrew, realized that he didn’t miss the beer or alcohol, but the aroma and complexity of hops. He imagined a beverage that took the best properties of alcohol – made from real ingredients, with layers of complexity – but without the bad stuff that would not only replace alcohol, but add more to everyday drinking.
