Ron (The Howard Stern of Cupcakes) and Ruthie Bzdewka started House of Cupcakes in Princeton, NJ.  Ruthie recalls that scrumptious desserts were an important part of her childhood; her mother and grandmother were always in the kitchen baking. 

Ruthie carried the baking tradition into her own home, baking homemade delicacies for family and friends alike. 

In 2008 when Ron and Ruthie's youngest son, Riot started school, Ruthie decided that it was time to open up her first cupcake shop.  The shop opened in Princeton, NJ right before the great Recession hit.  

Then Cupcake Wars Happened!   The Illy Espresso Brownie - winner of Season 11 of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network changed everything.  Ron and Ruthie are still the most requested guests on the show, and garner the most fan mail.

Rekindling the tastes of childhood & mixing in the indulgences of high quality ingredients has always been the House of Cupcake way.  

Whether it is a birthday, baby shower,  wedding or a corporate function HOC can transform your vision into our delectable creations. 

House of Cupcakes offers over 40+ flavors of cupcakes in addition to our gourmet (frozen center) cookies (8 flavors), wedding towers, pull apart cakes & cake pops/push up cupcake pops for the kids.
