HRDI (Human Resources Development Institute) is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Chicago, Illinois, that provides certified behavioral health services and related health and human services. Founded by Dr. C. Vincent Bakeman and Doris M. Lomax, the organization has operated for nearly five decades and serves more than 8,000 clients annually across multiple service areas. It is one of the largest certified behavioral health clinics in Chicago.

HRDI operates more than 30 programs addressing issues such as alcohol and substance use disorders, youth prevention, family services, community health, case management, mental health and disabilities, alternative youth education, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, and gambling prevention. The client population is predominantly low-income; nearly all clients are in the lowest socio-economic tier and face health and social challenges that expose them to risks such as homicide, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV infection, and poor health maintenance. Select programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
