Humanistic Robotics, Inc. (HRI) is an American company focused on making the world a safer place through engineering and design. The Company has core businesses in landmine and IED rollers, unmanned control systems for teleoperation and autonomous navigation, and engineered solutions for government agencies, NGOs and commercial clients. Founded in 2004, HRI began as a technology company focused on products that aid in crisis recovery, economic development, and assured mobility in some of the most demanding environments in the world. HRI has been intensely focused on pressure-sensitive munitions since the beginning, and has taken a holistic and scientific approach to mitigating the threats of landmines and pressure-sensitive improvised explosive devices, (IEDs).  Starting with field research in the minefields of Afghanistan, Southeast Asia, and the Balkans, the HRI team has developed a suite of products to improve the safety, cost, speed, and accuracy of explosives clearance efforts in both military and civilian scenarios.

HRI is actively engaged in marketing its products in the counter-explosives industry, and in applying appropriate pieces of its technology portfolio to other applications where they can improve safety, comfort and efficiency for their users.
