icotec, a Swiss company, is the world leader of non-metallic spinal implants optimized for cancer treatment of the spine. The implants are made of BlackArmor® Carbon/PEEK material. BlackArmor® breaks barriers in radiotherapy: it enables artifact-free CT/MRI images for accurate delineation of critical structures and accelerated dose planning. During radiotherapy, Carbon PEEK is radiolucent, enables homogenous doses and avoids shielding and scattering.
