The Idaho Tennis Association (IdTA) operates as the Idaho district of the Intermountain Tennis Association, which itself is part of the United States Tennis Association, the sport’s national governing body. Based in Boise, Idaho, IdTA is a nonprofit organization that coordinates and promotes a range of community tennis programs, including Adult Leagues, Tennis 101 for families, and Tennis is Elementary for grade-school children, as well as Junior Team Tennis. It serves more than 4,200 members across Southern Idaho and provides support and training for Community Tennis Associations within its district, with the aim of growing tennis through accessible, diverse programs. The organization emphasizes a balanced, proactive approach to program management that supports both sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournaments and social events, seeking to foster participation across ages and abilities while reinvesting proceeds to advance the USTA’s mission at the grassroots level.
