IDS has been serving public agencies in Southern California for over six decades. We provide specialized in-house – structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and civil engineering, as well as cost estimating services. 

As a full-service engineering and architectural firm, IDS is experienced in all project phases, from pre-design through closeout. Our in-house architectural and engineering services include: planning, programming, design, building assessments, alterations, and modifications, accessibility studies, ADA compliance studies and design, fire and life safety assessment and design, code review, space planning, remodeling, repair of damaged and deteriorated structures, and expansions and additions to existing facilities. Project experience of IDS’ staff encompasses renovation, re-adaptation and tenant improvements and new construction for a variety of building types.
