The IEB, Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, is a Madrid-based center focused on financial education in Spain and Ibero-America, affiliated with the Universidad Complutense and sponsored by the Bolsa de Madrid. Ownership of the study center lies with an Association formed by prominent figures from Spanish public life and the economy, including leaders from the Bolsa de Madrid and other institutions. It emphasizes practical, high-quality programs delivered in small classes by a distinguished faculty, with selective admissions based on academic records and entrance examinations to support students in developing an academic and professional project with the center's guidance. It provides tailored corporate financial training for major Spanish and Iberian financial institutions, including banks, savings banks, pension fund managers, and securities firms. It also offers technical training for supervisors and official financial bodies, and since its inauguration in 1989 has trained more than 50,000 students who are now professionals in financial sectors both nationally and internationally.
