IGBMC is a biomedical research center based in the Strasbourg area, France. Originating in 1994 from the merger of two Strasbourg laboratories, it stands as one of Europe’s largest biomedical research centers and the largest unit in France, bringing together CNRS, Inserm, and the University of Strasbourg. The institute organizes its work around four major scientific programs and provides advanced services and technology platforms to support its researchers and the broader scientific community. Its work advances interdisciplinary inquiry at the interface of biology, biochemistry, physics, and medicine, while training the next generation of scientists.
