Founded in 1990 by partners Dan Menchions and Keith Rushbrook, II BY IV DESIGN is a multi-faceted creative studio that is fueled by passion and dedicated to constant innovation. For over 31 years, Menchions and Rushbrook have been creating iconic designs which capture the imagination; they have the singular ability to distill the essence of a brand, understanding its unique character and translating it into the physical form.

Renowned as industry leaders II BY IV DESIGN celebrates an international portfolio that is distinguished by a balanced approach, capturing the essence of each client’s vision rather than a predictable ‘signature’ look. They are credited with over 450 Design Awards and the studio has been extensively published; recognized as Designers of the Year five times in addition to being declared one of the World’s Top 50 Retail Designers. 

Their staff of 50 reside in four offices, spanning from two locations in a brick-and-beam loft building in Toronto’s Liberty Village, to the fashionable Marylebone district in London and to the heart of the creative scene in New York City. Staff members regularly travel the globe to meet with clients, conduct site visits and seek out inspiration.
