Illinois Central College is a community college in the greater Peoria area, Illinois. It opened in 1967 and today serves more than 13,000 students annually, with more than 1,500 classes offered each semester. ICC provides a broad slate of programs, including 55 programs leading to an Associate in Arts or Science degree, 52 programs leading to an Associate Degree in Applied Science, and 61 programs leading to occupational certificates. The institution operates as an open-access college and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. ICC serves ten central Illinois counties within a district spanning 2,322 square miles, with most students residing in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties. In March 2026, ICC announced the appointment of Dr. Jamonica Rolle as president, with the role beginning July 1, 2026. This leadership change is part of ongoing efforts to support student success and workforce development in the region.
