Illinois Farm Bureau is a not-for-profit membership organization controlled by farmers through 95 county Farm Bureaus in Illinois. Founded in 1916 as the Illinois Agricultural Association, it operates within the American Farm Bureau Federation network and represents about two-thirds of Illinois farmers. Based in Bloomington, the organization shares information about agriculture with consumers and participates in policy discussions at local, state, and national levels. IFB provides marketing and education services intended to help members improve their net farm income and offers programs available to Illinois Farm Bureau members. It plays an active role in legislative advocacy and coordinates with the broader Farm Bureau system to deliver programs and services. In late 2025, ILFB Partners announced leadership for 2026, reflecting ongoing governance and activity within the organization.
