Kentucky Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization based in Louisville, Kentucky, that serves agricultural producers and rural communities as the state's Voice of Agriculture. Its work focuses on identifying problems, developing solutions, promoting economic success, and enhancing quality of life for its membership. Founded in November 1919 at a meeting in Louisville, it has grown to be one of the largest Farm Bureaus in the nation. Within the government relations arena, Kentucky Farm Bureau is recognized as an effective advocate for its members, with information products and member services that are well regarded. Its programs cover Public Affairs, Farm Bureau Insurance, and a range of initiatives such as Women's Leadership Activities, Ag in the Classroom, Safety, Health and Wellness, Estate Planning, Commodity Market Information, Scholarships, Certified Farm Markets, and Young Farmers. In 2024, the organization launched the Kentucky Farmland Transition Initiative.
