The Illinois State Dental Society is a professional association for dentists founded in Chicago in 1865 and now based in Springfield, Illinois. It aims to strengthen the dental profession and public oral health by supporting its members and advancing organized dentistry in the state. The society is organized into seven downstate districts and the Chicago District, and it elects officers and trustees from these divisions to govern its activities.
