Image Tours is a travel company that designs, markets, and operates escorted tours of Europe. Founded in 1939 in Amsterdam, the firm expanded its U.S. operations in 1960 and is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving clients through its specialty in European travel experiences. The company operates within the travel arrangements industry, aiming to provide structured itineraries that help travelers experience Europe’s culture, history, and scenery through guided experiences. Its operations are positioned to serve individuals seeking curated group tours rather than independent travel, with a focus on organized exploration and cultural immersion. The business appears to be medium-sized, reflecting a regional footprint and a long-standing presence in the escorted-tour segment. A recent development noted is the continuation of its escorted European tour offerings from its U.S. base, aligning with its historical emphasis on guided European travel.
