Independence Fuel Systems (IFS) is building the critically necessary refueling infrastructure for America’s cleanest, most abundant, and cost-effective fuel source, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Every medium and heavy haul truck manufacturer, as well as Americas “Big 3” (Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge), are rolling fleet off the production floor to run on CNG.

IFS is developing and building ultra fast-filling, conveniently located, high-traffic refueling stations to supply the growing fleets of CNG vehicles. With continually increasing fuel prices, fleet managers are looking for alternatives to gasoline and diesel to reduce fuel costs. CNG is that alternative.

CNG consistently costs up to $1.50 less per gallon, produces up to 30% less greenhouse gas emissions in light-duty vehicles compared to diesel fuel and gasoline, and up to 23% less emissions in medium to heavy-duty vehicles.

CNG is cleaner, quieter, more efficient and less costly – but not yet conveniently enough available. IFS stations will fill that need.
