IHCA is Indiana’s largest trade association and advocacy group within the hospitals and health care sector. It represents more than 480 long-term care facilities that care for over 35,000 geriatric and disabled Hoosiers and is headquartered in Indianapolis. The organization seeks to advance the long-term care profession and improve the quality of care across the state.

It delivers timely information along with tools, resources, and learning opportunities to member providers, long-term care facility staff, and business partners to help them navigate a heavily regulated and evolving health care environment. In August 2020, 31 member facilities across the state were recognized with Bronze and Silver National Quality Awards.
