Industrial Origami, Inc. (IOI) is a design engineering firm that specializes in the low force folding of sheet metal and thick plate. IOI uses a patented technology that simplifies the design and assembly of products resulting in reduced product costs, innovative designs and precision manufacture not possible using traditional forming methods. Industrial Origami Technology is deployed using existing CAD design software and existing capital equipment.  

Industrial Origami enables its customers to incorporate its patented technology into their existing or new products by providing technology licenses and sub-licenses, as well as professional design services. Industrial Origami also offers contract manufacturing through its partner network.  

Industrial Origami is a privately owned company headquartered in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. IOI began operation in 2003. Today, Industrial Origami technology has provided value for customers in several business segments including solar racking, bearings, white goods, electrical enclosures, and reusable packaging.
