Inland Valley Repertory Theatre (IVRT) was founded in 1990 with the goals of presenting high quality theatrical productions, and developing a conservatory workshop program to promote the talents of aspiring actors of all ages. During its initial ten year run, and now since it's successful relaunch in 2007, IVRT has remained true to its vision by consistently producing critically acclaimed award winning theatrical works which have garnered widespread kudos and honors such as the Rancho Cucamonga Community Foundation’s Primavera Award for outstanding contributions to the arts as well as several Inland Theatre League awards for acting and directing. IVRT is a non-profit, regional theater company that has performed throughout the Inland Valley in various venues. In 2008 IVRT formed an alliance with the Candlelight Pavilion dinner theatre, and IVRT up-cycled the Candlelight's stage settings for weeknight performances of plays and musicals until Candlelight Pavilion closed in 2022. Funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and government entities has allowed IVRT to expand its programming to include plays and musicals at a local restaurant, Eddie's Italian Eatery. Additionally, educational outreach programs such as Camp IVRT summer musical theatre workshop for youth, readers theatre projects in local schools, and paid, full-time summer internships for college students help to create future arts audiences for years to come.
