INOVA Geophysical designs and manufactures seismic data acquisition systems for the oil and gas sector, offering both cabled and wireless instruments along with seismic source controllers and related equipment. It also produces Vibroseis actuators and vehicles and MEMS digital seismic accelerometers to support on-site data collection. It is affiliated with ION Geophysical's Sensor Nederland division, which manufactures seismic-grade geophone sensors, and is based in Sugar Land, Texas, with field installation and service facilities in Calgary, Houston, Dubai, Beijing, and Delhi.

Formed in 2010 as a joint venture by ION Geophysical and BGP, a CNPC subsidiary, INOVA operates in the seismic data acquisition space. Its services cover field installation, startup, seismic field service, and repair for customers in the oil and gas industry, with a recent expansion of offices in Mexico, Central America, and the Americas noted in 2018.
