Interchange is a Year-long Life Coaching and Counseling Training Program that offers students a unique opportunity to work on themselves while they learn to skillfully support others in a supportive, community-based environment. It's like a 10-month personal growth workshop and counseling training rolled into one.

The Year-long Coaching and Counseling Training includes:
*  10 weekends of immersive, hands-on, life coaching & counseling training in San Francisco, CA (certification offered for those who successfully complete all requirements) . 
*  A 6-part tele-seminar series where students learn the Business and Marketing side of building a successful practice for yourself as a coach or counselor (optional to attend)
*  Monthly Life Coaching & Counseling Skills Labs where students receive additional counseling practice with feedback + a content review of the previous weekend (optional to attend)
* Monthly Friday Community Nights, where students have a chance to gather with classmates to connect and relax before the weekend of coaching training starts (optional to attend)
*  All books and supporting materials provided
*  A year's worth of weekly, high quality peer counseling and coaching
* Access to a private online system where students log session notes, get feedback on their counseling, and track their counseling development over time
*  An incredible community of people committed to supporting one another in their growth, healing & transformation

The Interchange Counseling Institute was founded in 2002 by Steve Bearman, Ph.D. Our Vision is to create a world where the best parts of what we call "counseling", people skillfully supporting each other to heal, grow, and become free from unnecessary limitations, are a part of people's daily lives and everyday relationships. We are currently celebrating our 12th year leading our flagship year-long counseling and coaching training.
