INTERLOPER FILMS is an international, award-winning production company founded by acclaimed filmmaker Ondi Timoner. We develop and produce original feature documentaries, shorts, series, and narrative work that amplify bold voices, urgent stories, and the human experience. Our distinguished catalog includes Sundance Grand Jury Prize winners DIG! (2004) and WE LIVE IN PUBLIC (2009), and critically acclaimed films like COMING CLEAN (2020), THE NEW AMERICANS: Gaming a Revolution (2023, Netflix), LAST FLIGHT HOME (2022, MTV Documentary Films/Paramount), THE INN BETWEEN (2024), and ALL GOD’S CHILDREN (DocNYC Centerpiece) — films that explore culture, identity, justice, community, and change. MAPPLETHORPE (2018), our first scripted feature, premiered at Tribeca and won multiple audience awards before theatrical and Hulu release. Our work also spans acclaimed shorts like LIBRARY OF DUST, OBEY THE ARTIST, and THE LAST MILE. In 2025, ALL THE WALLS CAME DOWN — Ondi’s deeply personal documentary short about the 2025 LA fires and community resilience following the loss of her Altadena home — was shortlisted for an Academy Award in Documentary Short Film and has screened widely, sparking dialogue and action around climate impact and equity. Interloper’s films are featured in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) permanent collection and have earned festival honors and industry recognition. We also produce multimedia series and initiatives—including BYOD (Bring Your Doc), A Total Disruption, and WeTalk—that extend Interloper’s mission: to tell impactful stories that shape culture and inspire action.
