The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) is a nonprofit, global professional organization dedicated to advancing research, education, clinical care, and patient outcomes across all pain conditions. For nearly five decades it has served as a leading global authority on pain and stands as the largest multidisciplinary group in its field. Based in Washington, DC, it connects a worldwide community of more than 7,000 members from over 130 countries, supported by 95 national chapters and 24 Special Interest Groups.
