The International Hyperhidrosis Society was established to address the needs of hyperhidrosis (Hh/excessive sweating) sufferers & patients, their friends, families & healthcare providers. We advance our mission by collaborating with fellow advocates, researchers, policy-makers, biopharma innovators, educators, employers & regulators. As an independent non-profit, we are unbiased & wholly dedicated to those who suffer from Hh. Our programs provide information & support, direction & resources to help sufferers improve their symptoms & lives.

Globally, we support scientific research into the biology behind Hh & improved treatment options. We are also advocate for Hh patients' rights including access to treatments. Additional educational efforts focus on healthcare providers in order to improve understanding of the physiology of excessive sweating, diagnosis, treatment & physician-patient relationships. Throughout, we raise awareness about Hh's emotional, economic & life impacts.
