The International Institute of Minnesota is a mid-sized nonprofit based in St. Paul, Minnesota, operating in the philanthropic fundraising services sector. It provides linguistically and culturally accessible services to help New Americans transition to life in the United States and pursue economic self-sufficiency. Its programs cover language learning, job training, citizenship preparation, and opportunities to engage with cultural traditions, collectively supporting integration into the community. Its primary clients are New Americans, including immigrants and refugees, who face barriers to language access, employment, and civic participation. In 2024, the organization expanded its community engagement through a Sunrise Banks partnership that supported a winter clothing drive across Minnesota and South Dakota. Through its services and partnerships, the Institute seeks to enable self-sufficiency and full participation in American life.
