International Relief Teams is a San Diego-based nonprofit humanitarian organization focused on easing human suffering by delivering essentials such as food, water, sanitation, shelter, and medicines to vulnerable communities, especially in disaster situations. Beyond immediate relief, it coordinates recovery efforts by providing construction materials and rebuilding homes with local labor and skilled teams. Over more than 35 years, the organization has mobilized more than 7,500 volunteers and provided $770 million in food, medicines, relief supplies, and volunteer services to families in 78 countries. It also pursues long-term health initiatives to build healthy, more resilient communities in developing regions, often incorporating sustainable living practices. In November 2025, International Relief Teams and its partners launched the Turkana Emergency Food Relief Program to reach 20 of the hardest-hit villages.
