Independently-owned by the original founders of Intrepid Travel, the Intrepid Group consists of five tour operator brands and more than 20 destination management companies. What we all have in common is our vision to change the way people see the world, one trip at a time. 

For the past 30 years, we’ve been taking small groups to travel the local way, on real life experiences that give back to the places and people we visit.  As this style of travel has caught on, we've grown to offer more than 2,700 trips in more than 120 countries and on all seven continents. We cater for all ages, budgets, and appetites for adventure through our B2B brand PEAK DMC and our tour operator brands; Intrepid Travel, Peregrine Adventures, Urban Adventures and Adventure Tours Australia.  and PEAK DMC. 

Globally-renowned as a leader in responsible travel, Intrepid has been a carbon-neutral business since 2010. We’ve led the industry on animal welfare by being the first global tour operator to end elephant rides in 2014, and our passion for child protection saw us remove orphanage visits from our itineraries in 2016.

Our not-for-profit, the Intrepid Foundation has raised more than AU$ 6M for over 100 local and international charities by matching traveller donations dollar-for-dollar.
