Inventionland is a design services firm that blends creative development with hands-on fabrication to turn ideas into tangible concepts. Its facility features sixteen uniquely themed sets, from a pirate ship to a treehouse, and houses a production space capable of metalworking, woodworking, molding, laser cutting, prototyping, and circuit board construction. The company also operates an in-house audio, video, and animation studio and provides educational materials as well as innovation supplies and services for schools and corporate innovation labs. More than 1,000 visitors tour the invention factory each month, underscoring its role as an experiential destination for creativity. In April 2024, Inventionland appointed Bradley Gamble as chief executive officer. The organization has received industry recognition in the past, including a 2011 Creative Rooms in Business award from the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
