From market analysis and initial concept refinement to prototyping, testing and marketing, Invent@NMU breaks down the daunting entrepreneurial process. All ideas are worth exploring™. Invent@NMU is an entrepreneurial program that gives students real-world experience helping regional clients take products and small businesses from concept to market. With the help of professional mentors, students develop skills in design, manufacturing and marketing. While the focus is on providing students competitive experiences for the marketplace, the services offered are available to students, individual inventors, start-ups and even existing companies with innovative ideas but that lack the experience or resources to fully execute the process.
