Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. is a nationally incorporated, historically African-American collegiate fraternity that aims to cultivate scholarship, leadership, citizenship, fidelity and brotherhood among men. Founded in 1963 at Morgan State University in Baltimore, it now coordinates a large network of members and chapters. Through its undergraduate and alumni chapters, the organization supports members and communities by promoting academic achievement, leadership development and civic engagement.

Its footprint includes more than 70,000 members and over 300 chapters and colonies across 40 states, the District of Columbia, and international sites in The Bahamas, Colombia, South Korea and Japan. It participates in the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the North-American Interfraternity Conference, and in March 2026 it received an Organization Award recognizing its support for a campus Black Student Union.
