Iowa Bankers Insurance and Services, Inc. (IBIS) is a division of the Iowa bankers Association (IBA), a nonprofit organization. The IBA has a 125 year history dedicated to servicing Iowa banks, primarily community banks and their employees. IBIS was incorporated in 1971 as an insurance agency to serve the banking industry. One share of stock was issued to each of the banks that were in operation at the time. IBIS is now a 40 employee agency listed as the tenth largest agency or brokerage in the state of Iowa according to the 2014 Book of Lists. Because IBIS is owned by banks, we specialize in providing products and services designed to fit the bank employee and customer needs.
