Dominick Paoloni, Founder and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of IPS Strategic Capital, has dedicated over 30 years to the investment community. Beginning his career on Wall Street, he became disillusioned with the commission-based, product-driven models that prioritized sales over solving clients’ problems. In the mid-90s, he established IPS Strategic Capital as a fee-based, fiduciary money management firm. As a professor at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado, Dominick has mentored hundreds of interns and students, instilling in them his core belief that “there is no greater purpose than service to others.” He holds the prestigious Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification from the Wharton School of Business and has completed the CFP program at the College for Financial Planning. After he received a B.A from the University of Colorado. Dominick is nationally recognized as a writer, having published two academic white papers, and as a facilitator, radio host, and investment commentator. His insights have appeared in publications such as Financial Planning Magazine, the Denver Post, the Journal of Investment Consulting, EQ Derivatives Magazine, and FA Magazine, among others. In 2009, Morningstar Advisor Magazine featured Dominick for his innovative portfolio strategies that protected clients’ money during the 2008 market downturn. He is frequently invited to speak at investment conferences worldwide, addressing thousands of financial professionals on how to protect and grow clients’ wealth. Additionally, he serves as the Executive Vice Chair of Compass Rose International, a global charity dedicated to eliminating child sex trafficking and aiding survivors.
