Founded in 2008, and headquartered in Portland, OR, Irvington Capital, LLC is a privately held investment advisor that manages the Irvington Capital Fund and IronGate Global Alpha Fund, long/short equity funds of hedge funds, on behalf of a diverse client base.

Irvington’s investment objective is to achieve equity like long-term returns with significantly lower volatility than public market indices and to preserve capital during difficult market environments.

To accomplish our objective, Irvington invests in experienced, smaller fundamental research-driven long/short equity hedge funds within a low net fund structure. Our strategy is balanced across sectors and market capitalizations and with an emphasis on U.S. markets.

Our team thoroughly evaluates prospective hedge fund managers’ investment acumen, risk management discipline, and strength of operational infrastructure to build conviction in our investments. We seek to invest with managers who have repeatable investment approaches, differentiated strategies, reasonable asset bases, and focused business operations.
